Rossobastardo Live is a special Spoleto 53- Festival dei 2Mondi event, dedicated to young emerging artists and new talent. An area in which artists can show their work freely to the public, offering a creative environment where people meet, discover talent and interesting art forms, are surprised, exchange ideas, pass the time and have fun. The heart of the initiative is the Osteria del Rossobastardo, in Via del Mercato 2, meeting place for artists and audiences. During each day and each night of the Festival this place, free of charge, will host shows, exhibitions, performances, parties and meetings in a friendly and creative atmosphere, where you can also taste wines and typical local products. RossobastardoLive will also liven up the city with events located in different areas of the historical center. The program developed is based on an international competition which involves more than 200 artists from all over the world. The events are divided into the following sections:

• PERFORMANCES Theater, Dance, Music, Urban and street entertainment, Specific sites
• LIVE ART Cabaret, Stand-up Comedy, Illusionists, DJs / VJs, Spoken Words
• VISUAL ART Painting, Sculpture, Installations, Photography, Video Art, Happenings
In addition there will be two special sessions
• SHORT PERFORMANCES that is, short films relative to theatre, dance, music, visual arts, and/or performances that stem from video projects. 
• INSTANT CINEMA competition for video artists. 11 Video Makers will have 23 hours to make a short film using any technique.
The public will be invited to vote for their favourite artist among those who perform during the event.
