“Mrs. bon ton" meets the "dance performer", with a pinch of the best "Italian design": presenting Soirée Sotìs. The ingredients of an absolutely inimitable evening.
Only the acumen of Valeria Magli, one of the most refined and intriguing artists in the European panoply, could have drawn an irresistible, cruel and incisive performance, in the signature style of the icon of the Milanese intellectual set in the ‘80s and ‘90s, from Lina Sotis’ books, Ragazze and Il nuovo bon ton.
The performance reconstructs a fabric of stories of ordinary frenzy. Women of our times, through three monologues with easy chair. Mara, a woman of wealth but little class, modern single girls, intense, verbose and neurotic; impenitent dreamers.
The female characters on the stage come to life, in a gallery at times ironic, at others delicate and dreamlike, behind which flutters that mysterious emotion we call love.
